Code of Conduct
Members and attendees of The Socialites Club share a joint commitment through our mutual involvement in this program to promote ethical practices and the highest standards of professional conduct when interacting in person or online. This code of conduct applies to all members, guests, and event participants who engage in The Socialites Club events or online activities (all are referred to as members below).
The Socialites Club exists to foster genuine friendship, community, and unforgettable experiences through glamorous and thoughtfully curated events. This is not a networking group.
All members agree to the following standards:
Members will behave professionally and graciously at all times.
Members will treat each other with honesty, respect, fairness, and integrity.
Members will not misuse the mailing list for advertising or unsolicited promotions. It is for personal use only.
Members will respect others' intellectual property.
Members will maintain confidentiality and not share personal stories, details, or vulnerabilities discussed during events.
Members will respect the business boundaries of others and will not inquire about another member’s business practices, clientele, or processes with the intent to copy, replicate, or solicit.
Members will report to Nancy Ottino any behavior that may endanger the well-being, reputation, or safety of another member, including:
Harassment or bullying of any kind
Defamation of another member’s name or business
Theft of personal or physical property
Intentional misappropriation of ideas, branding, or clientele
Exploiting another member emotionally during a vulnerable time
Professional Boundaries & Ethical Conduct Clause:
At The Socialites Club, we welcome members, guests, and community partners from select industries to enjoy our gatherings. While we encourage authentic connection and support, we ask that all attendees honor the trust and integrity that define our community.
It is strictly prohibited to use Socialites events to solicit business, gather proprietary information, or pursue the clients or contacts of a competitor, especially those of a Community Partner, even under the pretense of friendship or casual conversation.
Unacceptable behavior includes accepting a complimentary consultation from a competitor, asking business-related questions with the intent to benefit your own business, or collecting another member’s marketing materials for personal use. These actions may result in immediate dismissal from the Club.
Violating this Code of Conduct may result in permanent removal from The Socialites Club.
Expulsion and any potential readmission will be decided solely by Nancy Ottino and the Board of Directors. Membership and subscription fees are non-refundable in the event of termination.
